Graffiti Removal for Independent Shops & Restaurants
Tagged overnight and open in the morning? Send us a photograph and we will give you a clear price and the earliest slot we have. We work with independent shops, cafés and restaurants across Greater Manchester and Cheshire — no drawn-out process, no surprise costs.
You open up, and there it is across the shutter. Whatever else was planned for the morning now has to wait, because a tagged frontage tells every passer-by that the business is closed, struggling or not looked after — and that impression forms in about a second, long before anyone reads your sign or looks at your menu. For a small independent business, that is not an aesthetic problem. It is trade walking past.
No Graffiti works with independent shops, cafés and restaurants across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, and we have deliberately made this the simplest thing we do. Send a photograph and your postcode, get a clear price back, and we will book you the earliest slot we have — ideally before you open, so your customers never see it at all.
A photo is usually all we need
There is no reason a small job should involve a drawn-out process. A clear photograph tells us most of what we need to know: what the surface is, whether it is spray paint, marker or something else, how big the affected area is and how accessible it is from the street. From that we can normally give you a fixed price without arranging a visit first, which removes a whole step and several days.
That price is the price. We are not going to arrive, look thoughtful and revise it upwards, and we are not going to bill by the hour so that a slow morning costs you more. If a photograph genuinely is not enough — usually because the surface is delicate or the marking has been there a long time — we will tell you that upfront rather than guessing and sorting it out afterwards.

Getting it off without wrecking the shopfront
This is the part worth being careful about. A roller shutter is powder-coated, and the wrong chemical takes the coating off with the paint, leaving you with a patchy shutter that looks worse than the tag did and needs recoating. Painted timber, render, brick, glazing and signage vinyl all behave differently again. Most of the genuinely expensive damage we are asked to put right was caused by a well-meant attempt with a pressure washer or an aggressive solvent.
If you have already tried to scrub it off yourself, no problem — just tell us what you used. It changes what we can safely apply on top.

What we clean for small businesses
It is rarely just the graffiti once we are there, so it is worth knowing what else we can deal with in the same visit:
- Shutters, doors and shopfronts — tags, marker, stickers and adhesive residue.
- Fly-posting and stickers cleared from frames, glazing and surrounding walls.
- Frontage and paving washed back, including the strip of pavement customers walk in on.
- Anti-graffiti coating if your shutter is a regular target — the next tag then comes off in a fraction of the time.
If it keeps happening
Some frontages get hit repeatedly, usually because of where they sit rather than anything the business has done — a corner, an alley entrance, a stretch that is dark after closing. Paying for a full removal every few weeks gets expensive quickly. A protective coating changes the economics: the surface is sealed so paint sits on top rather than soaking in, and subsequent cleans are much faster and cheaper. If you have been tagged more than twice in a year, it is usually worth pricing.
It is also worth checking your lease. Many commercial leases put responsibility for keeping the frontage clean on the tenant, which means a landlord complaint can follow the graffiti — another reason not to let it sit. We are fully insured for work on your frontage, and we cover Greater Manchester and Cheshire East from our base in Macclesfield; the towns are on our areas we cover page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can you come out?
For a single shopfront we can often attend the same or next working day, and we will always tell you honestly what we can do rather than promising a slot we cannot hold. If the wording is offensive, say so — we push those to the front.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the surface, the size and what was used to make the mark, which is why a photograph helps so much. In most cases we can give you a fixed price from a photo and a postcode without needing to visit, and that price is what you pay.
Will it damage my shopfront?
Not if the method is right for the surface. Powder-coated shutters, painted timber, render and glazing all need different approaches, and the damage we get called in to fix is nearly always from someone using an aggressive chemical or too much pressure. Where a surface is uncertain we test a discreet patch first.
