Graffiti Removal for Healthcare Organisations

Clean, calm and reassuring surroundings for patients and visitors. We work with healthcare organisations across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, cleaning entrances, car parks and elevations using controlled methods that respect infection control, access routes and the people using them.

People arriving at a healthcare site are rarely having a good day. They are anxious, often in pain, sometimes frightened, and they are reading the environment for reassurance from the moment they turn into the car park. Graffiti on an entrance wall or a stairwell sends precisely the wrong signal — it suggests a place that is not cared for, which is an uncomfortable thing to conclude about somewhere you are about to be treated.

That gap between the exterior and the standards maintained inside is what healthcare estates teams ask us to close. No Graffiti works with healthcare organisations across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, cleaning entrances, car parks, walkways and elevations using controlled methods, working around live access routes, and documenting completion for estates records.

The exterior is part of the patient experience

Cleanliness inside a healthcare building is measured, audited and taken extremely seriously. Outside, it is often nobody's specific job, which is how a main entrance ends up with tags on the brickwork and fouling down the canopy while the reception two metres away is immaculate. Patients do not separate the two. Feedback and inspection commentary regularly picks up the approach and the car park alongside the clinical areas.

There is a safety dimension too. Poorly maintained external areas — slippery moss on a path to an entrance, an underpass or car park stairwell nobody wants to use after dark — create genuine risk for people who may already be unsteady or unwell. Keeping those routes clean is a patient safety measure as much as a presentational one.

Working on a site that never closes

Healthcare sites do not have a quiet period in the way a school or an office does. Ambulances arrive at four in the morning, visiting hours fill the car parks, and there is always a route that cannot be blocked. So we work in sections rather than closing an area, agree in advance which access points must stay clear, and manage water and run-off carefully — a wet, soapy surface across an accessible route is an obvious hazard for people who may be on crutches or using a wheelchair.

Let us know if any windows near the work area serve wards or clinical space. It determines whether we use a chemical method there at all, and at what time of day.

Need exterior cleaning that fits a live healthcare site?

Tell us about the site, the access constraints and the areas that matter most, and we will plan around them.

What we clean on healthcare sites

The work usually concentrates on the areas patients and visitors actually move through:

Compliance, documentation and discretion

We are fully insured, hold CHAS accreditation, and provide site-specific RAMS covering chemical use, water management and access control before we attend. DBS-checked operatives are available where the setting makes that appropriate. Dated before-and-after photographs are supplied on completion for estates records and inspection evidence.

Discretion matters as well. Offensive content at a public entrance is prioritised, and our operatives are used to working quietly around people who are unwell or distressed rather than treating the site as an ordinary commercial job. We work out of Macclesfield across Greater Manchester and Cheshire East — the towns are listed on our areas we cover page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work without disrupting access?

Yes, and it is the first thing we plan. Ambulance bays, drop-off points, accessible parking and main entrances have to stay usable, so we work in sections, outside peak visiting times where possible, and we never leave equipment blocking a route while we are elsewhere on site.

What about chemicals near windows and air intakes?

We choose the method with the setting in mind. Near windows, ventilation intakes and entrances we favour chemical-free or low-odour approaches, and we manage water and run-off carefully. Where a stronger product is genuinely needed, we agree the location and timing with your estates team first.

Do you provide completion records?

Yes. Dated before-and-after photographs are supplied as standard, which estates and facilities teams use for their own records and for evidencing site standards at inspection.
